what is interact?
Within the Interact program, the club works to enhance leadership skills, serve their community, and expand international understanding. Together, these efforts ensure a balanced club program and provide important experience and opportunities for each Interactor’s personal development.
Interact is a dynamic program that has the potential to fuel a lifetime of service. The basic requirements for each school year are to perform at least two service projects: one that benefits the school or community and one that furthers international understanding.
-
-
Community projects: Raise money for an institution in the community by multiple means directed by the cabinet
-
International understanding project: Annual International Festival in Fall 2018 to raise money for an institution abroad
-
There will also be other service projects throughout the year to support Interact and the Rotary Club’s mission statement.
Interact aims to:
-
help young leaders take action in their schools and communities
-
discover new cultures and promote international understanding
-
foster leadership skills within Interactors' schools and communities
-
connect individuals all around the world
