what is interact?

Within the Interact program, the club works to enhance leadership skills, serve their community, and expand international understanding. Together, these efforts ensure a balanced club program and provide important experience and opportunities for each Interactor’s personal development.

Interact is a dynamic program that has the potential to fuel a lifetime of service. The basic requirements for each school year are to perform at least two service projects: one that benefits the school or community and one that furthers international understanding.

    • Community projects: Raise money for an institution in the community by multiple means directed by the cabinet

    • International understanding project: Annual International Festival in Fall 2018 to raise money for an institution abroad

There will also be other service projects throughout the year to support Interact and the Rotary Club’s mission statement.

Interact aims to:

  • help young leaders take action in their schools and communities

  • discover new cultures and promote international understanding

  • foster leadership skills within Interactors' schools and communities

  • connect individuals all around the world
